Dr Aktsalis was born in Thessaloniki
He graduated from the 2nd Public High School of Thessaloniki
He studied Medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1994-2000)
Primary Health Care Physician in Rethymno, Crete (2001)
Training in General Surgery at Papanikolaou Hospital, Thessaloniki (2002-2004)
Medical Officer (National Service) in the Greek Air Force (2005)
Training in Plastic Surgery in the UK (Lister Hospital, Stevenage, St Andrew’s Hospital, Essex and Derriford Hospital, Plymouth) and at Gennimatas General Hospital, Athens (2006-2011)
Member of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (E.B.O.P.R.A.S.) after successful exams (2011)
He was specialized in Breast Reconstruction in Milan (Ι.Ν.Τ. and Ι.Ε.Ο.) and in Aesthetic Surgery in Barcelona (Clinica Planas) and in Italy (Villabella Clinic, Salo) (2012)
Fellow of the Dutch Association of Facial, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (DAFPRS) in Ghent, Belgium at the ‘EMC2’ and ‘Coupure Centrum’, next to the world- famous Plastic Surgeons P. Tonnard and A. Verpaele (2012)
