User Guide

1. Safety Precautions

   1. Wear chemical-resistant gloves, goggles, and protective clothing.

   2. Use in a well-ventilated outdoor area. Avoid breathing vapor; do not inhale spray mist.

   3. Keep away from skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice if irritation persists.

   4. Store in a cool, dry place away from ignition sources.

2. Preparation & Dilution

   1. Determine the level of soiling:

      • Heavy deposits (cement, thick scale, asbestos residue): Dilute 1 part Orbiscal-SP with 5 parts clean water (ratio 1:5).

      • Moderate to light deposits (surface dust, thin silica layers): Dilute 1 part Orbiscal-SP with 10 parts clean water (ratio 1:10).

   2. Fill a clean plastic or stainless-steel sprayer or bucket with the correct volume of water. Add measured Orbiscal-SP concentrate and stir gently until fully mixed.

   3. Always add the cleaner to the water, not vice versa, to prevent localized acid concentration.

3. Application

   1. Pre-wet the solar panel surface with clear water to loosen dry dust.

   2. Apply the diluted Orbiscal-SP solution evenly using a low-pressure sprayer or soft brush. Do not use high-pressure jets directly on panel glass, as that can force contaminants under seals.

   3. Allow the solution to dwell for 3–5 minutes, but do not let it dry on the glass. For very stubborn spots (cement splatter, thick scale), gently agitate with a soft-bristle brush or microfiber pad.

   4. Scrub lightly in circular motions over problem areas until deposits soften. Avoid aggressive scrubbing that could scratch tempered glass.

4. Rinsing

   1. Thoroughly rinse each panel with clean water from top to bottom, ensuring all acidic residues are removed.

   2. Confirm that no visible foam or streaks remain—acidic residue can etch glass if left too long.

5. Post-Cleaning Inspection

   1. Visually inspect panels for remaining spots. Repeat steps 2–4 on any remaining soiled areas using a slightly stronger dilution if needed (e.g., adjust from 1:10 to 1:7).

   2. Check seals and frame edges to ensure no residual cleaner has pooled.

6. Waste Disposal

   1. Collected rinse water may contain dissolved minerals, cement, or asbestos particulates.

   2. Allow solids to settle in a holding tank or container. Filter or decant clear water for discharge according to local regulations. Dispose of settled solids as non-hazardous construction waste (verify with local guidelines for asbestos content).

7. Storage & Shelf Life

   1. Keep container tightly closed when not in use.

   2. Shelf life is 12 months when stored at temperatures between 5 °C and 30 °C. Protect from freezing.

   3. Label clearly: “Corrosive. Handle with care.”
