draftworks* architects
draftworks*architects was founded in London in 2006 by Christiana Ioannou and Christos Papastergiou and currently operates in Nicosia and Athens. The studio borrows its name from the word draft*, which means both the first attempt* of a creative process and the noble task of drawing*. It consists of architects who have a keen interest in attempting* new projects and talking through drawings*. The * is used for emphasis and demarcation but also as a reference mark: Architecture for us is also an occasion to refer to something else, always linked to worlds beyond its own. The studio has been awarded prizes in various local and international competitions.
