ORBISCAL-LAT is a transparent, agile, almost odourless liquid that dissolves immediately in water and quickly and effectively cleans galactoliths on surfaces or piping where hot milk is circulating. Milk scale deposits are typically deposits on surfaces, piping and members of cooling/heating circuits that are not protected by anti-corrosive-anti-contaminant additives (such as ORBIS). These adhere and build up on the most critical parts of surfaces and destroy either the appearance or the effectiveness to transmit cooling or heating. The situation then worsens to the point of clogging the machine.

Before the system clogs, regular maintenance with ORBISCAL-LAT must be performed.

ORBISCAL-LAT is used, as appropriate, at a dilution of 1:5 to 1:10 (20-10% dilution, respectively) with water. The use of recycling (piping) or brushing (for external parts) greatly accelerates the cleaning process.
